I started drawing simple diary comics back in 2022, mostly using single panels. I used these as a way to document my life, both moments that I wanted to remember and some that I was finding hard to experience. I was diagnosed with colon cancer in Spring 2022, and I drew through my recovery from surgery, but it took me a while to feel safe to explore drawing my world as I felt very vulnerable.
